Why I'm standing

Time and again, ratepayers have been let down with higher rates, more bureaucracy and wasteful projects, while core services are neglected. It's time to give council a wake-up call and get back to basics – safe streets, working infrastructure and value for money.

About me

I understand the pressures families and businesses face from rising costs and poor council performance. My focus is simple: keep rates affordable, protect core services like roads, water and rubbish, and restore transparency so every dollar can be tracked. I bring practical experience and a commitment to fairness – treating all residents equally and resisting ideological distractions. Local government should serve ratepayers, not itself, and I will make sure money is spent wisely.

My priorities
  1. Ensure that infrastructure repair projects are actioned as soon as possible.
  2. Remove wasteful spending on consultants and reports that are not relevant or required.
  3. Remove red tape for ratepayers so they can enjoy their properties without fear of council persecution.
