Why I'm standing

Bad things happen when good people do nothing. I was raised in the Manawatū District and want to give back. I'm standing for Council to represent people from all walks of life in an open, respectful way. With life experience and energy, I will work to see our communities thrive, ensuring access to the basics and that investment in infrastructure delivers real value for today and future generations.

About me

I value honesty, fairness, and practical leadership that puts our communities first. I believe in listening, representing all voices with respect, and supporting rural communities, farmers, and small businesses. My approach is down-to-earth and grounded in lived experience. I want to strengthen community connections, ensure wise spending, and deliver outcomes that matter - safe roads, resilient infrastructure, and strong local services. Like you, I want our rural voice heard and our way of life protected.
