Why I'm standing

I am seeking re-election because I care about Napier, its past, its present and its future. We have many challenges but also huge opportunities to build a stronger, more sustainable city, one that future generations can be proud of.

About me

I could deeply about Napier, its people, its heritage and its future, a place my family has called home for five generations. I work closely with our community and am visible, accessible and responsive, always ready to help when there is an issue. I come from a farming and scientific background which makes me practical but smart and an effective member around the council table.

My priorities
  1. Strengthen resilience so Napier is better prepared for climate events and emergencies.
  2. Invest in core infrastructure, especially water systems.
  3. Keep rates affordable through smart spending and alternative income streams.
