Why I'm standing

Our environment is severely compromised, almost as bad as the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs 65 odd million years ago. There are 361 million square kilometres of ocean with the potential to feed many times the population of my planet, and through ignorance it is now poisoned, struggling to support even a modicum of life. Unless you act now your great grandchildren will witness the death of the last whale.

About me

I am a watchmaker, working with minute mechanisms, working at a 2 inch focal length, I see many problems and while I am not the greatest orator, I bring a degree of understanding of the workings of nature and of industry that is lacking in our politics.

My priorities
  1. Outlaw the use of all hormone and systemic herbicides that disrupt core metabolic pathways in flora.
  2. Introduce monthly pesticide residue testing on all lake, river and marine testing locations.
  3. Assist local manufacturers create poisons free mechanical or electronic weed control equipment.
