Ōtorohanga Community Board

The Ōtorohanga Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Ōtorohanga District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of six members: four members elected by voters, and two members from the Ōtorohanga District Council. There will be no election this year because there are the same number of candidates as there are positions.

Why I'm standing

I'm running to represent the voices that don't always get heard, our rangatahi, small businesses and hardworking families.

About me

As a long-time local, parent, and a small business owner, I've always believed in giving back. I have also supported local charities, schools and served on a board of trustees. These experiences have strengthened my connection to our people from all walks of life.

My priorities
  1. Represent local businesses to help promote local growth.
  2. Help youth into local employment.
