Why I'm standing

I'm running for Palmerston North City Council to be a voice for those who are too often unheard. Real change happens when we're at the decision-making table, and I'm committed to representing whānau, rangatahi, and communities who feel left out. It's not just about being elected, it's about uplifting others, creating space, and ensuring everyone has a say in shaping our city's future. Together, we can build a fairer, more inclusive Palmerston North.

About me

I will be a strong council member because I bring heart, experience and integrity. With a Master's degree and a background in social work, I understand people and systems. I'm a communicator, analytical thinker, business owner, and a proud mum, wife and iwi member. I'm dedicated to kaupapa Māori and passionate about uplifting others from all walks of life. I believe in community wellbeing and the power of sport to connect and benefit whānau.

My priorities
  1. Uplift low socio-economic communities with increased social housing, facilities, access and support.
  2. Support youth and our local business community with smart investment, innovation and partnerships.
  3. Grow our sports community through better facilities, funding and inclusive opportunities.
