Why I'm standing

I believe local government affects people every single day. I have the skills needed to make good decisions with ratepayers' money and help shape the community I represent in the way constituents want. I have the experience to make good decisions with public money and serve the needs of the community today and into the future.

About me

I have been a local resident for almost 10 years, and before that I lived in the neighbouring area where I was an elected representative for six terms. I bring expertise in the council environment and a finance lens from my corporate finance background. I am passionate about service to community and the role sport plays in community development. I currently serve on the boards of Basketball NZ and Tennis NZ.

My priorities
  1. Work collaboratively with other elected members to deliver positive outcomes for the community.
  2. Communicate transparently with constituents to rebuild trust which is currently very low.
  3. Listen inclusively to all residents to ensure priorities are representative of the community.
