Why I'm standing

I am concerned we need a more holistic and collegial approach to our governance that works across our administration, councillors, community boards, iwi and the community at large that hopefully will bring us all closer together and deliver effective and affordable services to our district.

About me

I have a commitment to service as a rural firefighter, chair of my local community group and a two-term community board member.

My priorities
  1. Bridge the gap between administration and governance.
  2. Bring about open, efficient and affordable service delivery.
  3. Find funding streams for the council that are not rate-dependent.
