Why I'm standing

I want to see our district flourish as a safe, inclusive and sustainable place to live, both in town and rurally. A heritage town, Featherston's in a key position to develop our identity, building on our military and rail heritage, the success of Booktown Karukatea Festival, Matariki and the new Pride Festival. Farming, the natural environment and the Dark Sky Reserve are significant parts of our identity as a rural community.

About me

I'm a people's person. With a background in nursing, health coordination and as a marriage and funeral celebrant, I'm approachable and willing to listen. I will be an authentic voice for you. I'm a positive networker and connector – always keen to explore fresh and innovative ways of approaching problems. I bring a wide-ranging set of skills with me.

My priorities
  1. Develop resilient infrastructure.
  2. Build safe, inclusive and sustainable communities.
  3. Provide positive representation to council with clear communication and feedback to the community.
