Why I'm standing

I am committed to serving my community and the natural world that sustains us. I have a long track record of making a stand for environmental protection and would love the opportunity to bring my passion and enthusiasm to the table at TRC. I am a father who wants a better world for my daughter and future generations to come.

About me

I believe our region and communities have yet to reach our full potential. As a natural leader, I encourage others to find their truth and achieve their goals. I come from a long lineage of political leaders on both sides of my family, and feel within me are the gifts required to make a difference. I seek to step into my power and honour my ancestors, while serving my community.

My priorities
  1. Restore public trust and confidence in the Taranaki Regional Council.
  2. Ensure core services are maintained whilst also protecting and enhancing the natural environment.
  3. Stop pollution and the negative environmental impacts of human habitation to ensure our future.
