Why I'm standing

Community service has always been a passion of mine, and I have been actively involved in it both in New Zealand and internationally. Standing for local government was a natural extension of my commitment to giving back and helping shape a resilient, vibrant and forward-looking community.

About me

I put people at the heart of decisions, mindful of their impacts on you, your whānau, and future generations. I offer my vast experience, indigenous knowledge, research and facilitate community wellbeing, where possible, and pay my gratitude to New Zealand which has given me an identity and right to vote.

My priorities
  1. Meet the needs of both residents and visitors through infrastructure development.
  2. Prepare communities for shocks – natural or man-made – by building community resilience.
  3. Position New Zealand as the first regenerative tourism destination.
