Why I'm standing

I have experienced first-hand the way that community boards can listen to and support the needs of the community. I believe that when people feel well connected to the place they live, that strengthens community and improves outcomes for all. I want to make sure that everyone within our diverse ward has a voice and can be empowered to contribute.

About me

I live in Spreydon and I am employed by Crossover Trust, a local organisation which supports children and whānau to thrive. I work within Addington Kura and have connections across Spreydon and Addington communities through a variety of projects from refugee resettlement to food security projects. I have board and governance experience and currently chair the Te Waerenga board. I think it is important to have more women's voices in local government.

My priorities
  1. Protect greatest assets – the port, airport, electricity and fibre networks – from being sold.
  2. Increase equitable access to public transport by supporting a mass rapid transport system.
  3. Improve environment by increasing biodiversity and cleaning up waterways.
