Why I'm standing

I have lived rurally for almost 20 years, and I have seen both the rewards and challenges of rural life. I have experienced the frustration of dealing with council decisions that did not reflect the community's needs, and I have learned the value of speaking up and asking hard questions. I am running because I believe our communities deserve openness, honesty and a council that listens. I want to bring people together, strengthen trust and make sure every voice counts.

About me

My background in education, research and community service has given me the skills to listen carefully, think critically and work collaboratively. I am approachable, fair and not afraid to ask tough questions when it matters. I am approachable and committed to transparency, accountability and respect, and will fight for our causes and concerns within the community.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for fair rates and prioritise essential services over non-urgent spending.
  2. Maintain roads, fix potholes, improve safety and advocate for better rural transport links.
  3. Champion sustainable farming, protect native bush and restore waterways for future generations.
