The Waikouaiti Coast Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Dunedin City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of six members. This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

I want to ensure that our local communities are properly serviced by the DCC.

About me

I have served on the board for four terms (one as deputy chair) and understand DCC processes well.

My priorities
  1. Ensure communities are well prepared and resourced for emergency management.
  2. Build on the reputation of the North Coast as a place for healthy recreation.
  3. Promote awareness of local history—Waikouaiti Heritage Centre, Truby King Reserve, etc.
