The Waikouaiti Coast Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Dunedin City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. I have served on the board for four terms (one as deputy chair) and understand DCC processes well.
My priorities
- Ensure communities are well prepared and resourced for emergency management.
- Build on the reputation of the North Coast as a place for healthy recreation.
- Promote awareness of local history—Waikouaiti Heritage Centre, Truby King Reserve, etc.
