Why I'm standing

I've long wanted to be part of supporting good decision making and governance in my local community. I've been a public servant for the last 17 years in central and local government, and seeing fair, balanced and informed decisions that help people is one of my passions. I love listening to a great diversity of views, and bringing them together so more people can see a positive outcome.

About me

I would make an ideal representative due to my 17 years experience in central and local government, with work focusing on policy, strategy, management, governance and community engagement. I have two Masters degrees in Policy and Strategy, and have used these to good effect supporting leaders from all sides of the political spectrum. I've lived in north Christchurch for most of my life and see so many amazing opportunities for the future.

My priorities
  1. Prioritise high-quality public services, such as libraries, service centers and public spaces.
  2. Expand and maintain accessible, safe and well-resourced green spaces in new subdivisions.
  3. Prioritise climate preparedness in long-term infrastructure and transport plans.
