Auckland Central electorate

Auckland Central covers Auckland’s city centre, suburbs such as Ponsonby, Newton and Arch Hill, as well as the islands of the Hauraki Gulf. It is currently held by Green party co-leader Chlöe Swabrick, who won the electorate with a margin of 16,624 votes and has held the seat since 2020. National won the party vote in 2023 with 33%, followed by the Green Party on 24%. Barring one three year gap, the seat was held continuously by Labour from 1919-2008, but it has not regained it since.

Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party

Why I'm standing

Personally, having experienced the positive medical uses of cannabis over the last two decades. Now seeing Mother Ganja help so many New Zealanders of all ages, religions or social standings. I, like many of you, find it hard to believe that it is still not socially accepted as an adult user product. I stand for the 1.4 million voters who were let down. I stand to Legalise Cannabis for Adult Consumption.

About me

IYKYK. Cannabis has community in her heart, bringing people together is what she does, I am here to support her, bridge building is what I have witnessed with the people who can stand and speak proudly about Cannabis. By making Cannabis legal and to support the industries that stem from the most useful plant on the planet will be a much needed financial boost to our economy to put NZ on the world stage.

My priorities

  1. Legalising Cannabis for adult recreational use.
  2. Educating NZ about all the positive uses of Cannabis. Industrial, Medical, Recreational & Spiritual.
  3. Create New Zealand's international position as a tourist spot for safe Cannabis experiences.
