Christchurch East electorate

Christchurch East covers many of Christchurch's eastern suburbs, including Avondale, New Brighton, and Waimari Beach. The electorate has been held by Labour’s Reuben Davidson, who was first elected in 2023 with a margin of 13,418 votes. Labour also won the party vote in 2023 with 34%, followed by National on 29%. The last party other than Labour to win the seat was the now-defunct Liberal party in 1922.

Why I'm standing

We are hurting under a punishing cost of living, and I see the strain on our families every single day. I do not have all the answers, but I offer deep dedication, a listening ear, and a relentless commitment to bring your real struggles to Wellington. I will fight with everything I have to restore common sense, defend one law for all, and make sure our hard-working community is never left behind.

About me

My journey began right here, earning my engineering trade certificate before working abroad across Asia. That experience taught me how to fix complex, broken systems, but it mostly deepened my commitment to traditional Kiwi values. I am not a career politician; I am a regular person ready to use my practical problem-solving skills to restore common sense, fight for one law for all, and fix things for the community I love.

My priorities

  1. Kids with neurodivergent conditions - guiding families how to navigate this complex support system.
  2. Bromley Waste Ponds - implement an enquiry to resolve this matter, show direction at least.
  3. Community Hubs - coordinate support programs from within our communities/residents.
