Hauraki-Waikato electorate

Hauraki-Waikato electorate begins in parts of South Auckland such as Papakura, and Pukekohe. It covers much of the Waikato region from Huntly, to Hamilton City and Cambridge. The seat is currently held by Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke, the second youngest MP in New Zealand history. Running for Te Pāti Māori, Mapi-Clarke unseated long-time Labour MP Nanaia Mahuta who had held the seat since its establishment in 2008, with 12,939 votes and 32% of the party vote.
