Kenepuru electorate

Kenepuru covers the northernmost suburbs of Wellington City and the southern suburbs of Porirua, including Tawa, Porirua city centre, and Titahi Bay. The electorate was created for the first time in 2026, but is expected to be a safe seat for Labour, with both its predecessor Ōhariu and Mana being held by Labour.

Why I'm standing

Because I'm sick to death of big corporates, industry and the super-wealthy pulling all the strings and profiting off the exploitation of working people and our environment. I want to see an NZ where care for each other as human beings and care for our environment is central to Government decisions and MPs govern for the public good over private profit for the wealthy few. Let's be better ancestors. It's our duty to be.

About me

I'd love you to consider making your party vote Green. The country desperately needs a change of Government and we want the next Govt to lead real, practical, change for the public good. The best way to achieve that is by the strongest Green result that pushes Labour to deliver. With my background as a Freshwater Ecologist, Regional Councillor, RMA and Freshwater Commissioner and decades of grass roots experience in community - I can help.

My priorities

  1. Affordable Lives - By taxing the wealthy, lowering power, grocery, transport and other bills.
  2. Protecting our environment - Ensuring everyone can drink, swim, and fish in our oceans and rivers.
  3. Decisions in your hands - getting big money and behind the scenes corporate lobbying out of politics.
