Opportunity, formerly known as the Opportunity Party, is a radical centrist party. Its program has emphasised a combination of economic efficiency, environmental concerns and well-being. Founded in 2016 by businessman and philanthropist Gareth Morgen with the intention of having a party that can work with both sides based on empirical evidence. It has yet to enter parliament, and its best election result was in 2017 when it received 2.4% percent or 63,261 votes. Opportunity is led by Quilae Wong, whose background is sustainable business consulting at KPMG.
