Tukituki electorate
Tukituki covers the southern Hawkes Bay, largely centred on Hastings and stretching to Waimārama, Ōtane, and Clive. The seat is held by National’s Catherine Wedd, who was first elected in 2023 with a margin of 21,981. National won the party vote in 2023 with 41%, followed by Labour with 25%. The electorate has the highest proportion of labourers in the country, with 22% of the populace employed as labourers, compared to 11% nationally.
