Why I'm standing

I have lived and worked in Ashburton all my life. Its a great place to live. Great community spirit. A district offering tremendous opportunities that I would encourage.

About me

Community activities. Was a fashion retailer for 54 years before retiring. Was a member of Ashburton JC. Past President and Senator Member of Rotary Club of Ashburton, past President and Paul Harris Fellow. 30 years involvement with Ashburton Licensing Trust the last 12 years as President, Life member of NZLTA. Average golfer!

My priorities
  1. We now need to work in partnership with land owners/ developers to encourage redevelopment.
  2. Keep promoting our Ashburton Business Park. Can we offer a package that will attract new business?
  3. Four lane highway to Christchurch. NZTA have a duty of care to ensure the best and safest option is agreed to.
