Why I'm standing

I bring a fresher, younger approach to the council table with an emphasis on environment, community engagement and efficient business practice.

About me

I have spent the last 30 years studying, volunteering and working in environmental and community enhancement projects. I have lived, worked and raised my family in the Eastern Bay of Plenty and I will do my best to improve the environment and the lives of my community members.

My priorities
  1. Protect NZ water from foreign-owned water bottling, enhance biodiversity and increase biosecurity.
  2. Devolve council power so locals are empowered to manage/co-manage local resources and issues.
  3. Run a lean council in a prudent and business-like manner.
