Bluff Community Board

The Bluff Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Invercargill City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.   • Champion and continue to support the efforts of the Motupōhue Environment Trust to trap pests, replant native vegetation and raise awareness.

    Work on a balanced by-law that recognises the effects of cats on native wildlife, and also supports responsible, accessible cat ownership.

    Lobby for increased surveillance and testing of potential toxic sites on land, and in water around coastal industry.
