Why I'm standing

I believe that our council requires sound fiscal management coming towards a turbulent period of inflationary pressure. Every last dollar of council spending should be scrutinised to ensure that locals are receiving value for their rates. Central Otago is the best place in New Zealand, I want to do my part to keep it that way.

About me

I've grown up within this valley and love being part of the community here. Through my involvement with both Millers Flat and Roxburgh Fire Brigades, as well as the local Lions Club I have witnessed what running an organisation requires and believe that these skills will transfer to the council table well.

My priorities
  1. Return the council towards the central three Rs of local government, roads, rubbish and rates.
  2. Provide a loud voice for the Teviot Valley around the council table.
  3. Ensure that the Teviot Valley receives every economic benefit from the Lake Onslow scheme.
