Why I'm standing

I have been on the community board for six years now, I am aware of the issues and want to help the city move forward. We have a responsibility to leave a place better than we found it, why not have the same approach for the city and Banks Peninsula? Our environmental impact and outcomes needs to be a priority not just an after thought. Our communities need to be our focus.

About me

I have a community focus, this is the background in which I have come from. Volunteering on local trusts and committees, leadership, youth development, caring for everyone. I am passionate for Banks Peninsula as this is my home, this is where my children are growing up and where I want to be. I want to represent the community because I can get a point across without telling anyone else they are wrong. I respect everyone.

My priorities
  1. Environmental impact/protection is the biggest priority.
  2. Community wellbeing. The community needs to be the focus, with resilience and preparedness planning.
  3. Smart spending. We need to look at up front costs of everything and the long term cost of delivery.
