Why I'm standing

Proudly living and working for 16 years in Lyttelton with a focus on sustainability and community development as the founder and chairperson of Te Puna Auaha community shed project. I am also one of the original founders of the Lyttelton Library of Tools and Things, now operating in it's third year and a long time volunteer in the community. I love this place and it's communities!

About me

I have an AA BA GradDip Communications, am farm raised, army veteran, 10 seasons in Antarctic science support, former DOC Ranger, cancer survivor. I know how to do the hard work to get things done and am not shy about getting my hands dirty to do it. I have experience and knowledge in science, sustainability, community organizing and building relationship and I aim to bring all of this to ECAN to get things done.

My priorities
  1. Bring people together to get projects going and keep them going. Time to get things done!
  2. Work to make public transportation a breeze to use via technology and innovation for everyone!
  3. Communication and partnerships that build confidence and reliability to move things forward.
