Why I'm standing
Our region has all the things you would want in the perfect lifestyle. But if we don't take action to protect these natural attractions and necessities we will lose them. I am also worried about the future of local democracy with the governments upcoming reforms. I want to be on council to ensure local decision making is protected for all our residents.

I'm passionate about the region and have skills and experiences in local government, business, community and environmental advocacy that give me unique perspectives to make good decisions and get things done. I have an ability to communicate online to a wide audience and I want to use that to help people better understand what local government does so that they can be more empowered to engage, trust and participate in the things going on.
My priorities
- Local democracy and local decision making retained and enhanced.
- Enhancing land use planning in the region to ensure we protect our environment and grow sustainably.
- Tackling climate change while making our already awesome place to live even better.
