Why I'm standing

I have served two busy, mostly enjoyable, terms on council and want to continue. I am still willing to listen and learn and bring my perspective to discussions and decisions that will affect our rangatahi.

About me

I'm a willing learner and listener and also a 'doer'. I bring energy and enthusiasm and love seeing people and projects succeed. I'm a wife, mother of boys, educator, performer and volunteer. I serve on the Diabetes NZ board, chair the Southland Art Foundation and am a Learning Differences Aotearoa trustee.

My priorities
  1. Establish a regional climate change strategy that translates into community opportunities and actions.
  2. Improve water quality over a generation.
  3. Advance biodiversity and biosecurity measures, both rural and urban.
