Fiordland Community Board

The Fiordland Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Southland District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of seven members: six members elected by voters, and one councillor from the Southland District Council.  This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     Ensure that social and emergency housing provision happens in Te Anau. I believe everyone fundamentally deserves to feel and be safe.

    Fulfill the masterplanning exercise for Te Anau which will cover spatial and urban planning, town layout, beautification and streetscaping.
