Why I'm standing

I put my name in as four days prior to nominations closing there was only two nominations, and I would have used a possible unopposed election to cynically highlight how bad this possible outcome is for any community representation. There is now an election and I am in the possible choices for the community. So if the community choose me I will provide an accurate picture of the value I can provide.

About me

No political alliance, ever. I have been a SME employer. I have a blended family of four children. I have coached youth and senior sport at junior, youth, and senior level for the last 20 years. I work in Vocational (Trade) training. People will describe me as positive, and encouraging, and responsible. I have a strong belief in equitable outcomes, and I am passionate about the strengths of regional New Zealand.

My priorities
  1. Be financially responsible now, for the current and future residents of this community.
  2. Iwi input is, and always will be, important in, the history, the now, and the future of this region.
  3. Losing control of water assets will put Hauraki bottom of the places to be resourced in NZ.
