Why I'm standing

I'm proud to be from Horowhenua and humbled to be able to stand for the first Māori Ward election, to have a voice for all Māori on matters that are important to our as a whole. To truly ensure the values and principles of the Treaty of Waitangi are realised and celebrated and is what makes us unique in the world. Being leaders that make positive difference and care about people and our environment.

About me

I have lived across the district growing up and due to this have been able to understand the many issues facing us all as a community including working in many arenas. I believe I'm a great communicator and connector. I'm easy to approach, have a korero and will do the mahi. "No konei ahau", I'm as local as you get. I'm not afraid of a challenge or hard work and will give it 110%.

My priorities
  1. "Ma te Tangata", For the people. Everything we do must consider the effects on others!!!
  2. "Ma te Taiao", for the environment. This is what sustains us now and in the future!!!
  3. "Hei Oranga ma tatou", so we can all thrive together. We are all in this waka together.
