Why I'm standing

I'm a proud fourth generation Horowhenua'n. Its always been the people across our district that keep me energised and committed to working for impactful change within our community. Strong relationships across our rohe need to be enhanced to ensure we deliver on thriving and growing together. Having extra elected members at the table with the introduction of Māori wards is an exciting opportunity to focus on our people and the diversity within our district.

About me

A core strength of mine is listening and hearing what people are saying. My experience with bringing people together to find solutions is evident in the number of committees I chair at a local and national level. Being born, raised and educated and raised my children here, I've been a part of my community well before I was first elected and proves my committent and connection to my community. I'm real, honest, local.

My priorities
  1. Ensure a connected, elected team on the ground, enhance inclusivity.
  2. Enable youth to participate and engage at a council and community forum level.
  3. Introduce flexible ways for our young families to engage, go to where they are, their spaces.
