Huntly Community Board

The Huntly Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Waikato District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of eight members: six members elected by voters, and two councillors from the Waikato District Council.  This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Compare the candidates and their policies to decide who to vote for in the Huntly Community Board election.

Why I'm standing

Because I love making Huntly a better place, be it making sure we have well-lit streets, clean gutters, the feeling of getting action from Waikato District Council is great, and I want to continue to do this.

About me

Over the past three years, I have been taking on board how to effectively deal with Waikato District Council and their contractors and how to get the best results for the community.
