Why I'm standing

We are facing challenging times in this coming term. The Government is instigating significant change across the board which will directly impact on our district. I believe I have a good understanding of opportunities and issues across our ward and feel I can be a strong voice at the table.

About me

During my three terms on council I have developed a good understanding across all aspects of council. I have worked with many communities across the ward and developed a good understanding and respect for what is important to them and challenges faced. I believe this will make me an effective voice in these changing times.

My priorities
  1. Ensure robust planning and delivery to keep our major infrastructure fit for purpose and resilient.
  2. Advocate strongly to retain local influence over local matters during these Government reforms.
  3. Increase community influence/knowledge early in planning to meet future challenges.
