Why I'm standing

It's been my honour to represent the Eastern Ward for the past three years as your local councillor. I've worked hard to engage residents, research issues and make evidence-based decisions for the good of our whole city. We've made great plans and progress towards providing more housing, reversing infrastructure deficits, addressing climate change and confronting other key challenges, but there's plenty more to do. I welcome your support to continue this important work.

About me

I've lived in the Eastern Ward for the past 15 years and been an active member of my local community in Naenae. I've held leadership and governance roles in local ECE providers, schools and community groups, within council and representing Hutt City Council on regional working groups. I'm a proud parent, a staunch community advocate and a passionate environmentalist. As an incumbent councillor I'll represent you with commitment, experience and the respect of my colleagues.

My priorities
  1. Continue to ensure meaningful climate action in our city, by every business, whānau and individual.
  2. Provide a voice for nature, advocating for the protection and enhancement of our natural environment.
  3. Centre communities at the heart of discussions, planning and decision-making, so we all can thrive.
