Why I'm standing

Now more than ever, we need councillors who are committed to standing up and getting on with the mahi to ensure positive outcomes for our people and planet. We have this golden window of opportunity in our midst, to take ambitious and transformational action to create a Kāpiti we'll feel proud passing on to the next generation.

About me

Being born and raised in Paekākāriki, and attending Kāpiti College in Raumati, this place will always have my whole heart. Locally, I help run a community group called Share The Warmth, I'm a weekly StarJam volunteer, a mentor with Challenge for Change, and long-time member of many community rōpu. My commitment and connections to our diverse community alongside my proven ability to work efficiently and effectively place we well to continue the mahi.

My priorities
  1. Commit to lead Kāpiti to carbon neutrality by 2040, with a clear plan to get us there.
  2. Fast tracking and furthering our mahi in the housing space – CLT, inclusionary zoning etc.
  3. Increased collaboration on the wider vision for our district, across council and community.
