Why I'm standing

I'm a strong believer in civics and want to help improve my region. Particularly with reducing poverty and helping those that need help.

About me

I think I'd make a good councillor because I have a lot of experience volunteering for non-profits and also working with local business. My previous voluntary roles include: 2009 Manawatū Chamber of Commerce Chairman, 2011 Sustainable Manawatū Chairman 2011, 2015 Sanson Community Committee Secretary, 2015 and 2022 Sanson Club Treasurer. I've been in business for myself for over 25 years and have also been a business mentor for local businesses through Vision Manawatū.

My priorities
  1. Help address poverty in our region.
  2. Improve council services to rural wards in the Manawatū.
  3. Help businesses succeed in our region.
