Why I'm standing

I love living in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki and want the best for our community and future generations. As your elected member I will advocate for opportunities to enhance safety, youth and community development, climate change and our environment, transport, and supporting local businesses. We need quality parks, playgrounds, roads, town centres, community facilities, clean waterways, and protect our environment and wildlife.

About me

I am the current chair of Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board, serving here since 2018. I bring a wealth of experience and skills that will benefit our community as we are experiencing significant urban expansion and growth. As a former business development manager in adult education at the University of Auckland, I worked with a diverse range of people to support their aspirations and achieve their goals. I bring over 25+ years of work and governance experience.

My priorities
  1. Support community and youth engagement wellbeing initiatives.
  2. Support climate change and action initiatives, eg speed reduction, reducing emissions etc.
