Why I'm standing

I'm really proud to have been a local Board member for the last three years, it's been tough with Covid but we have prioritised what we thought the community needed in difficult times. I'm passionate about making the streets safe for kids to walk and bike to school, leading to healthier kids, less traffic congestion and more time for parents in the morning.

About me

I am a current local board ember, with a huge amount of governance experience on boards as a director and decision maker. I'm an innovator who thinks strategically, using my experience in professional sport, broadcasting, marketing, business development, tertiary education and transport to get the best for both the community now and importantly the next generation who will inherit what we leave them.

My priorities
  1. Push solutions to problems that consider the urgency of the climate crisis and what's possible now.
  2. Make cycling safe for all – from kids riding to school to elderly riding to cafes on weekends .
  3. Prompt conversations in community about need to change and how we move and prepare for just transition.
