Why I'm standing

I love Papakura and have a home here, but am worried that the streets are not always safe. I want to remedy that and help find the solutions that bring back community pride. I want to be a part of the solution, as I want every member of our community to be a part of the solution.

About me

I work in health and safety. My role isn't to go out and tell people they are doing things wrong. My role is to ask questions to find the root cause of a problem, and engage people to come up with creative solutions. I don't have all of the answers, so I like to hear people's point-of-view, and I believe that it is exactly what a good representative should do.

My priorities
  1. Expand tree planting programs to regenerate nature and improve the environment.
  2. Supporting initiatives that provide upskilling workshop opportunities to boost employment.
  3. Increase local events and develop an identity for Papakura, to boost domestic tourism.
