Rangiora-Ashley Community Board

Rangiora Subdivision

The Rangiora-Ashley Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Waimakariri District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of eight members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the community board area. Six members will be elected from your area. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

With the increased size of our community and current times I feel we are losing the community spirit! I want to help create stronger connections and a more vibrant open minded community where we encourage thinking outside the box!

About me

I have a nursing background with a sideline of pottery. I was raised in this district and returned because I felt it was a great place to raise a family. I am involved in a number of local groups including TimeBank Waimakariri. I enjoy connecting with people and helping where I can. I am a practical hands on type keen to see our community thrive.
