Why I'm standing

I have concerns about the directions and methods of the sitting mayor and councillors. Local government in the Rangitīkei District needs to be more open and accountable to citizens and ratepayers.

About me

I have long record of experience in senior management in a variety of businesses, and I want to bring that experience and my management expertise to the council table.

My priorities
  1. Review long term and annual plans to ensure they are in tune with what residents and ratepayers want.
  2. Review rate increases in the council approved plans to ensure they have been properly considered.
  3. Stop the constant 'public excluded' sessions at council meetings.
