The Rodney Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of nine members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the local board area. One member will be elected from your area. There will be no election this year because there are the same number of candidates as there are positions.     Advocate for funding to monitor water quality with strategic plan for improving sediment. Improve communication of flood hazards and mitigate.

    Increase funding for maintenance on unsealed road networks to mitigate effects of climate change, ie dust and potholes.
