The Rodney Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of nine members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the local board area. One member will be elected from your area. There will be no election this year because there are the same number of candidates as there are positions.   • Advocate for not charging at Park n Rides at Albany and Silverdale. Work with Auckland Transport to ensure bus service rolled out for Milldale in 2022.

    Adopt rural roading guidelines, therefore ensuring that cost effective trails can be delivered in rural areas.

    Lower speed limits and improve safety outside of all rural primary schools.
