Why I'm standing

Featherston is facing many challenges. Our infrastructure is old and neglected, families have been subjected to crippling rates increases and the community feels unheard on issues that matter. Featherston is a community my family is proud to call home. I want Featherston to remain a beautiful, safe place to live and work. Rates to be spent carefully on things that matter. Community opinions to be listened to.

About me

With many complex issues needing urgent attention, my professional experience in community engagement, project planning, governance and management is going to be essential for positive change. As a council candidate I bring a fresh perspective and vibrant energy to old issues. I am committed to providing, accessible, inclusive representation to our community because your family, your money and your opinions matter!

My priorities
  1. Provide accessible, inclusive representation to our community so they are heard, valued and engaged.
  2. Address overspend and diversify income streams to reduce reliance on rate rises for all projects.
  3. Foster stronger relationships with businesses, remove preventative barriers to attract new business.
