Mayor of Thames-Coromandel

The mayor is the leader of the council. Their job is to promote a vision for the district and lead the development of the council’s plans, policies and budget. The mayor appoints the deputy mayor, establishes committees for particular topics, and appoints chairs for those committees. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

I have considerable skill sets developed from a career that has focussed on all the needs of society. An architect, landscape architect and urban designer melding ecology. I am forthright and enjoy bringing people together to create the change needed. I have lead team and NGOs designing solutions that are highly efficient for the public arena saving considerable costs while creating thriving enjoyable enriched environments attracting people that generates business, harmony and well-being.

About me

I am open for all debate on any topic enjoying instigating the same with a can do and will do attitude. I am a designer and a builder. Having evolved a career as an ecology architect I have all the talents needed to offer a community to lead the change needed to create a safe vibrant environment. The critical element needed today is consultation and communication across all domains of the community. Open forums a must.

My priorities
  1. Open forums for all community in all towns stimulating our immense creative intellect in all of us.
  2. A public audit developing high level of fiscal management eliminating abuse and inefficient losses.
  3. Evolve major urban design enhances towns to invigorate and attract people creates greater business.
