Why I'm standing

I want to see Christchurch realise its potential to be one of the most liveable, sustainable and vibrant cities in the world. Christchurch has so much inherent promise and that's the reason we've decided to raise our family here – but we're clearly facing a series of challenges and transitions ahead of us. This will require progressive thinking along with community leaders with the right aptitude to assist us through this next chapter.

About me

As a degree qualified project manager, I have a range of technical and practical skills that enable me to advocate strongly for our local communities. This background also enables me to ask the tough questions of the council (when required) often influencing positive change and better outcomes. Furthermore I'm a networker and connector with broad volunteer experience as a Rotarian, youth mentor and through conservation efforts with the Summit Rd Society and Port Hills Trust.

My priorities
  1. Invest in rapid mass transit, a complete game changer for how we can live, work and play.
  2. Finish our Major Cycleways (MCR's) along with the secondary networks – enhancing active transport.
  3. Deliver the 'city in a park vision', create greener urban environs and plant out our Port Hills.
