Waikanae Community Board

The Waikanae Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Kāpiti Coast District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members: four members elected by voters, and one councillor from the Kāpiti Coast District Council.  This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. Compare the candidates and their policies to decide who to vote for in the Waikanae Community Board election.

Why I'm standing

I've been fortunate to live on this desirable coast for over 40 years and would like to be a part of continuing this quality of living.

About me

I have taken part in life here on the coast while raising a family, trading as a business, belonging to sporting clubs and group activities.

My priorities
  1. Public transport has an assured need with the challenging future of petrol usage and needs enhancing.
  2. Development of better footprint housing for climate durability and space usage.
  3. Ongoing support for the flora and fauna of our area.
