Why I'm standing

I believe the North Coast tends to be neglected by our city council and that it needs strong local voices to ensure that our communities can flourish.

About me

I have lived locally (Karitane) for 30 years. My working life was as an academic at Otago University. I have been involved with many community groups both locally and in Dunedin for many years.

My priorities
  1. Promote our board area for its natural beauty and opportunities for healthy recreation.
  2. Ensure the board participates fully in future planning for climate change resilience and adaptation.
  3. Lobby for an increase in the board's discretionary fund to provide greater community support.
